Fireman Spins in Dryer
A British firefighter is in hot water with his employer now that this video has appeared online. An investigation was launched after a fireman was filmed climbing into a tumbler dryer and being spun around for a prank. Andy Bruce, 33, has apologised for his actions after admitting he was the man caught on camera climbing into the machine at Blackley fire station before it was turned on. As the door is closed, the dryer is turned on and the fireman tumbles over inside while his workmates laugh hysterically. The episode was filmed on a mobile phone and a copy of it was sent via email to the fire department head, County Fire Officer Barry Dixon. A spokesman for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, said: "An investigation is under way and there is potentially disciplinary action. It is blatantly obvious that getting into a tumble dryer, especially of industrial design, is not only foolish, but dangerous in the extreme." | 8/7/2006 # Link to this video
